UPDATE: 6th Annual Potato Truck Pull Charity Fundraising Event

…. as you all know due to ongoing concern regarding Covid19 we had to make to difficult decision to CANCEL this year’s Potato Truck Pull Charity Event which was supposed to be held on Sunday, July 5th, 2020, in Carberry, Manitoba!

Every year we have a huge outpouring of community support which has made the Potato Truck Pull Charity Event one of the largest fundraising events in Manitoba for Pediatric & Adult Cancer Research at CanerCare Manitoba. We are so incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported our event through Corporate Sponsorship, personal donations, volunteering & participating in the event each year!!

Since we have cancelled the Potato Truck Pull Fundraising Event it has been so heartwarming to still have business’s and personal donations still coming in!! This is so very generous and totally not expected…

We have decided that this year we are going to set new goal! We are going to try “Fill the Potato Truck” with donations this year!! We have been in contact with the amazing staff at CancerCare Manitoba Foundation and we have decided that we are going to do on-line donation & recognition for all the Business and Personal donations received. All Corporate / Business Donations will also be recognized on the 6th Annual Potato Truck Pull Facebook Page & also on the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation link.

We have decided to set our goal for $60,000.00!!

The Wurst Competition
Aug 22 @ 12:00 pm

Steph and Paul, The Wurst Competition organizers, have a history of holding sausage competitions with friends and have decided to step it up with an official sausage competition to crown the best homemade sausage.

Unfortunately, Paul and Steph have also both lost a close family member to cancer. Wanting their hard work of organizing a competition to have a more significant impact, they have decided to donate proceeds to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.
