Volunteering with CancerCare Manitoba Foundation

Each year, volunteers contribute their time, energy and passion to support Manitobans and their families affected by cancer. Our volunteers come from all walks of life and participate in rewarding volunteer experiences that recognize their skills and interests. 

We offer flexible schedules and a welcoming environment that recognizes the important role volunteers play in our organization. Opportunities include:

• Office tasks such as putting together kits for Lemonade Stands for Hope
• Challenge for Life event day tasks
• Challenge for Life preparation activities like assembling registration packages
• Community events – accepting donations or other event related tasks.
• Hockey Fights Cancer games – selling raffle tickets and merchandise

These are just a few examples of opportunities available, we endeavor to find the right fit for everyone wanting to volunteer with the Foundation. Our volunteer needs fluctuate throughout the year which means that there can be a wait for available opportunities.
