One Sunday last August, Larsen’s mom found a lump under his arm. By Wednesday he was receiving chemotherapy for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Larsen’s current treatment regimen – presently the best-known therapy for ALL – is the result of a clinical trial funded by donations to the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.
