Community Fundraisers

Event and fundraising organizers who give to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation support CancerCare Manitoba, our provincially mandated agency for cancer and blood disorders. Their generosity helps achieve the shared bold vision of a world free of cancer and that no life is cut short by cancer.

All funds raised and donated remain in Manitoba and support an internationally-recognized team of health professionals at CancerCare Manitoba who provide outstanding care for patients and their families throughout Manitoba dealing with a cancer diagnosis. Donor contributions – your donations – help bridge the gap of services not eligible for government funding, including prevention, early-detection, clinical trials and leading-edge research and treatment.

Two in five of us will be diagnosed with cancer in our lifetime- that’s nearly half of everyone we know. The increasing incidence of new cases each year combined with long-term survivorship means the number of people diagnosed and living with cancer over the next decade is estimated to increase by 50 per cent. Your commitment and support is more important than ever to support those who currently have cancer, and those who will face a diagnosis in the days, weeks, months and years to come.

Hundreds of community fundraisers all across Manitoba are held annually in support of CancerCare Manitoba Foundation. Every fundraiser makes a tremendous difference in its own unique way.
