The situation we are in right now is unprecedented and changing rapidly. COVID-19, otherwise known as the novel coronavirus, has altered all of our lives. Working together we can flatten the curve to keep the people we care about safe and healthy. At CancerCare Manitoba, our colleagues are applying their knowledge, skills and commitment to protect our province’s cancer patients, caregivers and staff.
During this challenging time, what comforts me greatly is knowing Manitobans are strong, resilient and dedicated to helping each other. I have seen this time and time again from you, our valued supporters. Manitobans are known for these qualities and our community spirit and this is what will help us through this pandemic.
CancerCare Manitoba Foundation is following the direction of the Chief Provincial Public Health Officer regarding social distancing. Our utmost priority is the safety of Manitobans. If you have questions about the impact of COVID-19 on Foundation Events (Signature and Community), please contact:
- Nicola Starin, Senior Manager, Events – firstname.lastname@example.org
- Sherelle Kwan, Community Events Manager – email@example.com
If you have not yet done so, please learn more about COVID-19 and the precautions you can take. These resources are very informative:
- The Province of Manitoba’s Health, Seniors and Active Living website
- The Government of Canada website
Thank you for your support of CancerCare Manitoba Foundation and your fellow Manitobans.
Stay well & take care,
President and CEO
